Nick Rockey
Nick Rockey
Trialogue’s Managing Director Nick Rockey (BSc Eng. (Natal), MBA (Wits)) has 16 years of consulting experience across many market and industry sectors. Nick is involved in product development in the fields of CSI and sustainability, and leads the client consulting business for Trialogue. As such, he facilitates and compiles CSI strategies, reviews sustainability practices and assists clients in setting up sustainability knowledge and management systems. Nick is also responsible for setting up partnerships or alliances between other organisations and Trialogue, and provides strategic direction for the business.

Rob Worthington Smith
Rob Worthington-Smith
Director and a founding shareholder of Trialogue, Rob Worthington-Smith (BSc Agr Econ (Hons), has 20 years experience in development, from rural and agricultural to SMME development in peri-urban environments. Rob heads up the client publications division compiling and producing attractive social and sustainability reports. In addition to this focussed role, Rob is instrumental in integrating the design and content for various projects, and supports other divisions through the ongoing development of client relationships.

Vanessa Rockey (BCom) is a founding shareholder and Director of Trialogue, bringing with her a wealth of development expertise and relationships with both NGOs and corporate grantmakers. As initiator of The CSI Handbook, Vanessa served as editor and has grown the handbook in its stature and recognition over its nine-year life. Vanessa plays a central role in client relationship management and in supporting Trialogue’s strategic growth.

Ian Shepherd
Ian Shepherd
Ian Shepherd is on Trialogue’s board of directors to represent the interests of Trialogue’s BEE shareholder. He has a long and distinguished background in advertising and served as CEO of Grey Global South Africa for eleven years. Ian currently serves on the boards of the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa and the Mazda Wildlife Fund, and is CEO of the CIDA Investment Trust and CIDA Learning. He is currently pursuing his passion by studying for an M.Phil in Sustainable Development at Stellenbosch University.

Cathy Duff, DirectorCathy Duff
Cathy Duff (BBusSc (UCT), M.Phil (Cambridge), MBA (INSEAD)). Cathy's experience includes five years in strategy consulting with Braxton Associates/Deloitte Consulting and seven years of research and advisory work in the philanthropic and sustainability sectors. Cathy was research manager at New Philanthropy Capital in the UK and worked as research and development manager for Tshikululu Social Investments (TSI) in South Africa. Cathy joined Trialogue in 2008 and manages Trialogue's Johannesburg office. She has worked with a number of clients on their CSI and sustainability strategies and reports. Cathy was appointed as a director of Trialogue in 2011.

Michelle Matthews
Michelle Matthews (BA, with distinction in English (UCT), BPhil Sustainable Development (cum laude, Stellenbosch)). Michelle joined Trialogue in 2009 as ‘writer at large’. She has ten years’ experience in writing, publishing and project management in the media and book industries. She is the author of The Whole Food Almanac (Sunbird, 2008), a guide to sustainably produced local foods. In 2005 Michelle was selected as one of 100 people who would ‘help build South Africa in the next decade’ by the Mail & Guardian.

Susie Keane
Susie Keane (BA (Brown University), MBA (Boston University)). Susie joined Trialogue in January 2012 as a senior consultant. She has six years’ experience working in the field of sustainable development. As a senior consultant with the Context Group in London she provided consultation, benchmarking and writing support for clients' sustainability strategy and communications (including AstraZeneca, BT, Centrica and Vodafone). Before that she worked with the World Business Council for Sustainable Developmen as a contributing researcher and writer for the Vision 2050 project and at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC as a research analyst for sustainability and communications executives. She has published two articles in Ethical Corporation.

Karen Petersen
Karen Petersen (BA HDE) taught for just over two years before embarking on a career in the advertising industry in Dubai. She spent seven years acting as an internal co-ordinator for all advertising briefs from clients. She moved into the sales arena in 2005 and is currently liaising with Trialogue clients on an ongoing basis, marketing the products and services.

Vanessa Sampson
Vanessa (Vee) Sampson has vast experience in the advertising and customer liaison environment and supports Trialogue’s Production Division. Her day-to-day functions include operating a wide-range of internal and exernal systems such as: online handbook sales; debtors and creditors; and, database management.

Shona Young
Shona Young (BSSc (UCT), M.Phil Environmental and Geographical Science (UCT)). Shona joined Trialogue's Johannesburg office as a Managing Consultant in 2011. Before that she was a Senior Consultant at Letsema Consulting and Advisory in the strategy practise. Prior to Letsema she was the Project Manager of Environmental Communications and Awareness in the Environmental Resource Management Department at the City of Cape Town. In this role she developed and managed the production of printed publications and resources (e.g. the City's biannual environmental newsletter (Enviroworks), the Nature Reserves Booklet and the Coastal Book), facilitated workshops and networked with a range of stakeholders including other City line functions, environmental organisations, and the media.

Fadzai Munyaradzi
Fadzai Munyaradzi (BBusSc (Rhodes) Honours in Economics and Law). Fadzai joined Trialogue's Johannesburg office as a Senior Consultant in 2010. She has five years' experience in economic development consulting with Kaiser Associates Economic Development Practice. During this time she was involved in policy and strategy formulation for mainly public sector clients in fields such as tourism, SMME development and support, ICTs and transport. She has worked with Vodacom, Xstrata and TSB on CSI strategy and implementation engagements and with Liberty on sustainability reporting since joining Trialogue.

Jeremy Yung
Jeremy Yung (BA in Political Science (University of Calgary)). Jeremy previously worked at the Nelson Mandela Foundation where he contributed to the Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture and the Rural Education Programme. Prior to joining Trialogue, Jeremy worked at the Charity Commission for England and Wales as a senior case officer in the compliance and investigations unit. His role was to investigate charities where there were significant concerns about the operation and management of individual charities. Jeremy joined Trialogue in 2010 as a consultant focussing on CSI project reviews.

Lugile Zakwe
Lungile Zakwe (M.Sc. (St. Andrews), International Relations Honors (Wits), BA Law (Wits), Diploma (Swedish Institute of Public Administration), Diploma (Soka University of Japan)). Lungile has worked as a Junior Researcher for the Centre for Policy Studies. She has taught English in Japan and Romania. As a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar Alumni Lungile enjoys working with projects that deal with sustainable community development. Lungile joined the Trialogue Johannesburg office in 2011.
